September Meeting

Please join us on Wednesday September 16th for a tour by Drew Rose, P.E. of the new Equity Bank, Corner Bank, and Noah’s Event facilities.  These facilities were completed over the past year and each offer a very unique lighting layout. Below is a recap of each building:

Equity Bank is a new 7,500 sq. ft. banking facility located in the Water Front District. The front lobby of this new facility offers a very open clear story plan that provides day-lighting. The light fixtures used range from decorative pendant fixtures to LED downlights. The address for Equity Bank is 1555 N. Webb Road, Wichita KS.

Corner Bank is a new 5,800 sq. ft. banking facility located in front of the Wink Hartman Oil Building. This facility was designed as a hub for new small businesses to utilize their conference rooms to help grow their own business. The use of LED lighting was encouraged by the owner to help with energy costs. The address for Equity Bank is 10501 E. Berkeley Square Parkway, Wichita KS.

Noah’s Event Venue is a new 5,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose space venue located in the Water Front District. Noah’s is an event venue for important life-events such as weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. The building is comprised of  several multi-purpose rooms that can be reserved for special events. The lighting is comprised mostly of decorative fixtures that provide a very intimate feel to the space. The address for Noah’s is 1550 N. Lindberg Circle, Wichita KS.

Tours shall begin at 11:30 a.m. starting at Equity Bank. After Equity Bank, we shall go to Corner Bank (Noon), and then finish up with Noah’s Event at 12:30 pm.

Drew Rose P.E. is an electrical engineer with over (10) year’s experience in the field of electrical

engineering design for commercial buildings. Graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s of Science, Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University. Drew spent the first 6 years of his career working for ccrd Partners in Dallas, Texas. While in Dallas Drew primarily worked on healthcare facilities and mission critical facilities. In 2011, Drew returned to Wichita, Kansas and began working for Integrated Consulting Engineers. His professional affiliations include USGBC, NCEES, and IAEI. Drew has served as project manager, production coordinator and project engineer on his projects. This includes new construction, existing facility renovations, and additions. He has also worked on various other types of mission critical facilities such as data centers and other commercial facilities.
